佐治亞理工大學(xué)機械工程學(xué)院The Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology Chen Hailong教授研究組2017年秋季有意招收材料,能源和電化學(xué)方向CSC訪問學(xué)生和CSC聯(lián)培學(xué)生各1人。有如下研究背景之一(或多項)者優(yōu)先考慮 1. 鋰離子電池,鈉離子電池,鋰硫電池,正極或負極 2. 固體電解質(zhì)和全固態(tài)電池 3. 電沉積 或電解冶金 4. X-光或電子,中子衍射晶體學(xué),TEM/STEM 有意者請直接與Dr. Chen聯(lián)系 (hailong.chen@me.gatech.edu),請附上CV (including publications if any), 成績單(非正式即可)和英語成績 (TOEFL preferred). The research in Dr. Chen’s group is focused on: 1. Development of advanced in situ techniques, including in situ TEM and in situ X-ray technologies utilizing synchrotron and bench top X-ray sources (diffraction, absorption and pair distribution function analysis, etc.), and their application in structural characterization of nano-structured materials. 2. Electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies: Li and Na ion batteries, and solid state ionic conductors and electrolytes. 3. Synthesis and characterization of novel nanostructures and nanomaterials. Design and fabrication of novel micro-scale energy devices. The lab resides on the main campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The students will have good academic training and will be doing cutting-edge research in the frontiers of energy research. The students will also have opportunities to work at the national labs in the US, including Brookhaven, Argonne, Oak Ridge and Lawrence Berkeley national labs, where the world leading synchrotron and neutron sources and electron microscopes are located.
