An adaptive controller and some parameter update laws are proposed to achieve stable linear generalized synchronization and parameter identification of different chaotic systems. This novel synchronization method effectively unifies complete synchronization, anti-synchronization, projective synchronization, rotation synchronization and function synchronization.
