| Fig. 1(c) shows that the increase in the concentration of the cross-linking agent NMBA resulted in the initial increase, and then decrease of the swelling capacity of the resin. This result was observed because when the cross-linker concentration is too low, the cross-linking density of the resin would also be low, which causes the formation of a sparse three-dimensional network that facilitates water entry. Moreover, the adsorption ability decreased, and the solubility of the material increased on a macroscopic perspective, which led to a decrease in water absorbency. This decrease has direct effects on the hydrogel strength after swelling. The resin did not become an elastic gel but a colloid with low strength. The swelling ability of the resin was reduced. |

| 圖1（c）表明，增加交聯(lián)劑NMBA的濃度一開(kāi)始引起樹(shù)脂溶脹力的升高，但繼后降低。觀察到這個(gè)結(jié)果是因?yàn)楫?dāng)交聯(lián)劑的濃度過(guò)低，樹(shù)脂的交聯(lián)密度也將是低的，這將導(dǎo)致形成一些稀疏的三維網(wǎng)絡(luò)，這些網(wǎng)絡(luò)促進(jìn)水的進(jìn)入。此外，從宏觀角度來(lái)看，吸附能力降低，以及材料的溶解度增加，會(huì)導(dǎo)致吸水率降低。而吸水率的降低又對(duì)溶脹后凝膠強(qiáng)度有直接的影響。（此種條件下）樹(shù)脂并非成為一個(gè)具有彈性的凝膠，而是低強(qiáng)度的膠體。樹(shù)脂的溶脹能力降低。 |
