Cape Town Kite Festival draws thousands from around the world 已有4人參與

The 21st International Kite Festival took place in Cape Town on Saturday, in support of mental healthcare in the country. The annual charity event attracted 20,000 visitors this year, providing kite lovers with the best show on the continent. This annual festival drew professional kite-makers and fliers from around the country and the world. On the agenda, a chance to present their kite creations, as well as a crowd-pleasing performance of their skills as handlers.  Adults and kids alike from South Africa and beyond also had the chance to participate in free kite making workshops available over the weekend, leaving with their own unique souvenirs. The event also provides much-needed funds to continue offering free support and services to communities and individuals with mental healthcare challenges.
