Ph.D. student recruitment Dr. Jiujiu Yu from Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska Lincoln is recruiting highly-motivated Ph.D. students for Fall 2017. Dr. Yu’s laboratory mainly focuses on chronic inflammation in obesity and obesity-related diseases. We are interested in understanding the effects of dietary molecules and environmental cues on chronic inflammation in the context of obesity and obesity-related diseases. (https://cehs.unl.edu/npod/jiujiu-yu/) The candidates with research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, metabolism, or immunology will be preferentially considered. Previous experience with mouse models is highly desirable. Your application will not be further processed without personal statement or the aforementioned scores. Department requirement: Grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Preferred minimum GRE scores: 140 Verbal; 144 Quantitative; 3.0 Analytical (writing). Required minimum TOEFL score (International students only): 79 internet; or 6.0 IELTS. |
