美國ETS（教育考試服務(wù)中心）公布自今年11月1日起對(duì)托�？荚囬喿x部分的結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行調(diào)整。

新東方果然是英語培訓(xùn)界的一朵奇葩啊，其國外考試推廣管理中心北美教學(xué)教研負(fù)責(zé)人范猛第一時(shí)間對(duì)本次變化做了解讀。本次ETS對(duì)閱讀部分的調(diào)整主要有三個(gè)變化：一是調(diào)整后的閱讀部分縮短了考試時(shí)長、減輕了考生負(fù)擔(dān)。二是調(diào)整后的閱讀部分力圖使考試更加人性化、舒適化。即去掉了以往的第一篇文章和后面文章的割裂。三是閱讀部分的加試由以前的2篇變?yōu)?篇。加試均不計(jì)分。

個(gè)人感覺改變后讓考生做題更加自由，可以控制自己的時(shí)間和保持自己的做題習(xí)慣，我想訓(xùn)練復(fù)習(xí)的時(shí)候按照機(jī)試的方式來鍛煉的機(jī)會(huì)應(yīng)該有限，所以現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該沒有這個(gè)顧慮了。而且在時(shí)間不變的情況下，少了一篇文章，這無疑是降低了考試的難度。

其實(shí)難度降不降的對(duì)中國學(xué)生影響應(yīng)該不大，我們?cè)谧鲱}、考試上還是比較有優(yōu)勢(shì)的，更何況我們有這么強(qiáng)大的培訓(xùn)機(jī)構(gòu)，據(jù)說這次改變也是一方面考慮了之前“機(jī)經(jīng)”盛興行為帶來的不公平，我還是很相信新東方名師們對(duì)托福、雅思、GRE考試的研究功底的，報(bào)個(gè)新東方，或者搞一本托福機(jī)經(jīng)預(yù)測(cè)應(yīng)該對(duì)考試有所幫助，如此一變，這個(gè)“弊端”不復(fù)存在，進(jìn)一步保證了考試的公平性。盡管如此，我還是相信新東方的老師們能盡快找出對(duì)策的。

Timing and Navigation Enhancements to the
TOEFL iBT® Reading Section

In response to feedback about the length of the TOEFL iBT® reading section, ETS will decrease the maximum number of reading passages from five to four beginning November 1, 2011. You will have either 60 minutes to complete three reading passages and questions, or 80 minutes to complete four reading passages and questions.

In addition, the Reading section will no longer be divided into separately timed parts. Instead, all of the Reading passages and questions will be made available to you in a single block of time. This change will allow you to pace yourself throughout the entire Reading section. It will also allow you to navigate within the entire Reading section so you can skip questions, go back to review and change responses, or respond to questions that you may have skipped.
