Job description:
The Department of Basic and Environmental Science of Engineering School of Lorena of University of Sao Paulo (LOB - EEL - USP) of Brazil is inviting applications for a FAPESP postdoctoral position in theoretical nuclear physics. This is a one-year fellowship, with the possibility of renewal for another year. The starting date of the fellowship is estimated to be on 1st, March of 2015.

The candidate should have experience in some of the following topics:
(1) Relativistic heavy ion collisions (hydrodynamics & transport model, equation of state, flow harmonics and particle correlations)
(2) Nuclear properties (phase transition, strangeness, neutron star)

Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) is a publicfoundation located in São Paulo, Brazil. The FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship provides a tax-free annual salary of R$71,000 (Brazilian real, 1 US dollar is approximately 2.3 Brazilian real) with additional moving costs as well as R$10,600 per year for travel and research expenses. Review of applications will begin in November of 2014 and it continues until the position is filled.
