at a quarter of the straight line 四分之一是不是用泛指的a好一些

但是感覺用a有點兒奇怪

surface = (或平或彎) 表面

方向由所謂 outward normal 向外為正之矢量確定
boundary layer 表層為零, nnn beyond ... = ... (點或面) 之外 nnn 距離

四分之一 距離之外 = about a quarter of the distance beyond (the frontal boundary)
about / beyond = 見上
distance = 自內(nèi)部某起點 (例: nucleus / nucleation site) 到表層之間的距離，
at the 1/4 point of the line
