本人美國phd預計年底畢業(yè)，前不久看到一個西海岸的牛校牛組發(fā)了個博后廣告。雖然大方向相同，但是其實做的東西區(qū)別蠻大的，不過還是郵件發(fā)了個簡歷，下面是PI先后發(fā)給我的兩封郵件：

Hi ###,

Professor ### forwarded me your email expressing interest in our current postdoc opening. I am leading the project together with Dr. ### and collaborators at UW, WHOI and UH. Would you be interested in visiting us to present your work at our weekly seminar? This would give you and us a chance to get to know each other and to chat more about the project. In the meantime, I'd be happy to send you some more information on the projectitself if you are interested.

我回復讓他們定個去的時間，三天后回復了。。。

Hi ###,

Sorry for my slow response - I have been traveling the past few days.

I am attaching a description of the project so you can get a better idea of what we are doing and planning to do.

I realized I will be traveling in November without knowing firm dates yet, therefore I suggest we hold off with scheduling a seminar until I know more. In the meantime, feel free to email me with any questions regarding the project and also make sure to send in an application before the deadline if we haven't scheduled a talk by then.
