Dr Alberto BIANCO is one of top scientist in the field of carbon nanomaterial and has published over 290 SCI papers, cited more than 39000 times. He has been honored as fellow of European Academy of Sciences; he is Editor of Carbon and he was an invited Professor in Kyoto University. In 2019, he was honored the CNRS Silver Medal.

Alberto Bianco’s Group is focusing on the multi-functionalization and biomedical application of carbon materials including carbon dots, carbon nanotubes, graphene and other 2D hybrid materials. The Lab is located at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBMC) and the Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (ISIS), CNRS. Four scientists at IBMC and ISIS have been awarded with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and Medicine. Alberto Bianco’s Lab widely cooperates with Scientists around the World including China.

The Lab is well-equipped with top instruments and it is highly International. Currently there is 1 Research Director, 1 Research Scientist, 3 Post-docs, 9 PhD and 1 Master student.
