A researcher position is available to carry out world-class research on developing flexible ionic thermoelectric materials like ionic liquids and gels. The research works include the preparation and characterization of ionic conductors, data analysis, preparation of technical reports and manuscripts. The research works will be carried out at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Suzhou Research Institute, and the researcher will be mentored by Prof. Jianyong Ouyang of NUS.

The successful candidate is expected to possess a PhD degree in materials science and engineering or related discipline. The candidate should have solid knowledge and research achievements in ionic conductors or thermoelectrics. He/she should have hand-on research experience in the preparation and characterization of conductive polymers, semiconductor polymers or ionic conductors.
