背景：thesisbased發(fā)郵件問過學院，申請時不需要匹配到一位導(dǎo)師，入學后會根據(jù)statement，給你安排一位，但歡迎聯(lián)系教授，于是我聯(lián)系了一位副教授（專業(yè)就7名可以帶學生的教授1位正3位assistant）。然后我問了一個副教授問帶不帶學生，給點建議。
她回復(fù)：
“Thank you for your interest in our program.

Please see attached funding information for prospective international graduate students. To meet the minimum funding requirement, international students require external funding (this refers to grants and scholarships, not personal funds) and/or supervisor funding. Please note that at present I do not have funding to support a graduate student.“

她的附件里就只講到了：
1、留學生有哪幾種情況可以減少學費？都是關(guān)于永居啊、親屬啊、有工簽之類的
2、FinancialAid/Awards。包括research scholarship，但這個是從自己導(dǎo)師里掏出來的。TA和RA如果申請成功，會在offer里寫明。還有就是Internal/Externa lScholarships/Awards external里中國那幾項感覺挺懸的。

1. 我可以回復(fù)說我會申請TA和RA嗎？（不知道這算不算external funding，也不一定能申請成，但這個像是最簡單的了）
2. 不是非得跟這教授不可，想去套下其他導(dǎo)師看看有沒有funding，該怎么回復(fù)這位導(dǎo)師比較好呢？（其他教授可能也沒錢，所以不想把這位說死） 返回小木蟲查看更多
