A postdoctoral fellow and a lab technician position are immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Hu Yang in the Department of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (University of Missouri, Rolla). The focus of the postdoctoral position will be to develop biomaterials for the treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma and cardiovascular disease such as atherosclerosis.  The duty of the lab technician position will be to manage the cell and animal experiments in the lab. Highly-motivated candidates with a Ph.D. (for postdoc) or master degree (for lab technician) in biological-related majors will be preffered. Applicants should possess strong laboratory, analytical, interpersonal, and independent working skills. Candidates with previous experience with cell culture, mouse modeling/handling, and flow cytometry are highly desirable.
