王鵬教授，現(xiàn)任職于香港理工大學(xué)和阿卜杜拉國(guó)王科技大學(xué)（KAUST）�，F(xiàn)其香港實(shí)驗(yàn)室欲招聘博士生一名，今年九月份入學(xué)。候選人需要具備環(huán)境，材料，化工, 化學(xué)或機(jī)械工程等方面的相關(guān)背景，同時(shí)工作踏實(shí)，語(yǔ)言交流能力好。具有較高水平論文發(fā)表經(jīng)歷者將會(huì)被優(yōu)先考慮。

王鵬教授的研究一直關(guān)注于清潔能源驅(qū)動(dòng)的凈水生產(chǎn)和廢水回用技術(shù)，以及設(shè)計(jì)新型環(huán)保和節(jié)能水資源處理與利用體系。課題組現(xiàn)有的主要研究方向包括太陽(yáng)能驅(qū)動(dòng)海水淡化，空氣中水收集，工業(yè)廢水的零排放處理和回用，以及智能環(huán)境納米材料設(shè)計(jì)等。具體研究?jī)?nèi)容請(qǐng)參見王老師課題組主頁(yè)（www.wang-lab.net）。

One PhD position with September 2021 entry time is available in Professor Peng Wang’s lab at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The applicant should possess strong background in environmental science & engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, material science and engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. The preferred applicant is expected to have good communication skill, satisfactory English writing skill, and team spirit. Prior experience in publishing in top journals is a big plus.

Dr. Peng Wang obtained his PhD from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2008. He joined King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2009 as a founding faculty member. He was program chair of Environmental Science and Engineering at KAUST from 2013 to 2017. Dr. Wang received ‘The Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water’ (PSIPW) in 2020 and the Nanova Frontier Research Award from the Chinese-American Professors in Environmental Engineering and Science (CAPEES) in 2020.
