深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室簡(jiǎn)介
深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室是廣東省委、省政府以培育創(chuàng)建國(guó)家實(shí)驗(yàn)室、打造國(guó)家實(shí)驗(yàn)室“預(yù)備隊(duì)”為目標(biāo)主導(dǎo)啟動(dòng)，由深圳市科創(chuàng)委和北京大學(xué)深圳研究生院共同舉辦，協(xié)同南方科技大學(xué)、香港中文大學(xué)（深圳）、清華大學(xué)深圳研究生院、哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)（深圳）、深圳大學(xué)、中科院深圳先進(jìn)技術(shù)研究院、華大生命科學(xué)研究院、深圳數(shù)字生命研究院以及相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的優(yōu)勢(shì)單位合作共建的生物醫(yī)學(xué)前沿研究機(jī)構(gòu)。深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室將整合北京大學(xué)以及粵港澳大灣區(qū)生命健康科學(xué)研究的優(yōu)勢(shì)資源，以全方位、全周期生命健康保障為主線，以腫瘤、代謝、心血管、神經(jīng)退行性疾病等重大疾病的預(yù)防和干預(yù)為重點(diǎn)，開(kāi)展生命信息、創(chuàng)新藥物、醫(yī)學(xué)工程等方向研究。其中百瑞創(chuàng)新中心是深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室直屬研究機(jī)構(gòu)。

百瑞創(chuàng)新中心是深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室下屬的制藥技術(shù)創(chuàng)新中心，與全球頂級(jí)知名企業(yè)和高校開(kāi)展深度合作，依托粵港澳大灣區(qū)的國(guó)家戰(zhàn)略布局，深入思考大灣區(qū)的地區(qū)優(yōu)勢(shì)，整合全深圳乃至粵港澳大灣區(qū)的各領(lǐng)域資源和專家，針對(duì)深圳市科技轉(zhuǎn)化和布局生物技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)的需求，契合深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室全面開(kāi)展生命信息與生物醫(yī)藥前沿研究的任務(wù)，以發(fā)展下一代制藥技術(shù)為核心理念，推動(dòng)BT+IT(Biotechnology + Information technology) 的創(chuàng)新技術(shù)發(fā)展，匯聚產(chǎn)業(yè)專家、科學(xué)家和投資人解決生物技術(shù)和制藥技術(shù)瓶頸，聚集全球頂級(jí)的科研+技術(shù)+產(chǎn)業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)化人才推動(dòng)技術(shù)應(yīng)用，并積極推動(dòng)創(chuàng)新成果在深圳落地。
Director, Discovery Biology:（1名）
Responsibilities:
1.Report to the CEO and server as a member of BayRay management team.
2.Establish and lead the Discovery Biology function and be responsible for the design, development, and execution of in vitro and in vivo assays to enable all BayRay programs from early discovery to IND filing in a fast-paced manner.
3.Provide strategic and scientific leadership to support BayRay becoming a leading technology innovation and drug discovery organization.
4.Contribute to cross-functional team efforts in proposing, evaluating, and implementing new discovery programs based on novel biology ideas in areas of unmet medical needs.
5.Participate efforts to establishing breakthrough technologies that push the boundaries in complex cell/tissue-based assays and superior translational in vivo models
6.Interpret, summarize, and present research findings to key stakeholders (e.g. external partners, SZBL leadership, and investors) and scientific meetings.
7.Develop budget and staff projects for Discovery Biology to support continued growth of BayRay.
Qualifications:
1.PhD in life or medical sciences; post-doc experience preferred.
2.12+ years of drug discovery and development hands-on and leadership experiences with demonstrated success in a pharma or biotech setting.
3.Expertise in assay development, mode of action (MOA) elucidation, and in vitro/in vivo pharmacology in multiple therapeutic areas, preferred experience in oncology, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic disorders, rare diseases, virology.
4.Deep understanding of preclinical PK/PD/efficacy relationships; good understanding of preclinical and clinical biomarker discovery and development.
5.Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
6.Demonstrated creativity and novel approaches to solving scientific problems in a fast-paced environment characterized by rigorous science and innovative thinking.
7.Successful track record in managing team or projects in industry or academic labs.
8.Extensive experience in engaging and managing external collaborations (academic, biotech/pharma or CRO).
