【課題組簡介】

趙宗敏教授在哈佛大學(xué)美國兩院院士Samir Mitragotri教授的指導(dǎo)下完成博士后訓(xùn)練，目前在UIC藥學(xué)院開展獨立研究。趙宗敏教授課題組運用免疫學(xué)，納米醫(yī)學(xué)，基因編輯，細胞工程，和免疫工程等交叉學(xué)科手段，致力于開發(fā)新一代藥物遞送系統(tǒng)和新型細胞及免疫療法用于重大疾病的診斷和治療。課題組多項研究成果發(fā)表于包括Cell, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Science Advances, PNAS, Advanced Materials, Biomaterials, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews在內(nèi)的多個國際著名期刊。更多信息詳見課題組網(wǎng)站(https://www.zongminzhao.com/)。目前課題組誠聘博士后兩名。具體職位要求如下：

【博士后職位介紹】
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our interdisciplinary team. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to lead scientific projects and participate in grant writing, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and lab management. Under the supervision of Dr. Zhao, the primary duties for this position include 1) designing/conducting experiments related to nanoparticle formulation, chemical/biomaterials synthesis, cell isolation/engineering et al. and 2) conducting/supporting pharmacological studies using clinically relevant in vitro and in vivo animal models. The postdoctoral fellow will also prepare manuscripts, write fellowship applications, participate in research symposia, and assist with training and maintenance of the lab. Qualifications：       
1) Should have a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Immunology, Biology, or a related discipline by the time of appointment.
2) Expertise in two or more of the following areas: Drug Delivery, Gene Editing, Nanotechnology, Cell Therapy, Immunoengineering, Biomaterials, Microfluidics, Computational Modeling, Cancer Therapy, Drug Formulations, and Animal Models.
3) Additional expertise in in vivo experiments, mammalian cell culture, PCR, western blotting, flow cytometry, bioconjugation, and nanoparticle synthesis will be preferred.
4) Have a strong track record of publications in high-impact journals.
5) Self-motivated and well organized. Strong oral and written communication skills. Capability to conduct research independently and to work collaboratively with other fellows in the lab.
