芬蘭奧盧大學(xué)生物中心招聘公派聯(lián)合培養(yǎng),公派讀博，訪問學(xué)者和相關(guān)學(xué)生 已有11人參與

我最近在芬蘭奧盧大學(xué)(University of Oulu)生物中心組建了一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)室，主要研究基因轉(zhuǎn)錄調(diào)控網(wǎng)絡(luò)和癌癥，個(gè)體發(fā)育的機(jī)制。詳情請見我的實(shí)驗(yàn)室主頁http://www.oulu.fi/biocenter/groups/wei 在此希望相關(guān)專業(yè)，對我的研究感興趣的公派留學(xué)生(公派讀博)或者訪問學(xué)者加入，工作語言為英語。本實(shí)驗(yàn)室已建立多個(gè)基因敲除模型和一系列最新的下一代測序相關(guān)的高通量技術(shù)，以及多個(gè)的國際性合作機(jī)會(huì)，包括和赫爾辛基大學(xué)，卡羅林斯卡醫(yī)學(xué)院和哈弗醫(yī)學(xué)院等。確保能夠給你很好的科研訓(xùn)練，有興趣請給我寫信gonghong.wei@oulu.fi 芬蘭奧盧大學(xué)，全球排名在300-400間，雖然算不上最好，但絕不算差。她的地理位置比較靠北，冬天黑，但不冷（北大西洋暖流）。至于說一些手續(xù)問題，我這里會(huì)努力幫忙解決。 博士注冊基本要求如下（大概的內(nèi)容） 1、英語成績 TOFEL 570PBT/88IBT；或A類IELTS 6.5 （小分最低5.5）；或者碩士學(xué)習(xí)階段為英語授課。 2、碩士學(xué)位證經(jīng)CDGDC轉(zhuǎn)送 3、學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃 4、導(dǎo)師同意接受 本實(shí)驗(yàn)室研究范圍的英文概括 The Biocenter Oulu is the forefront organization of biosciences and molecular medicine in the University of Oulu, Finland. The functional genomics laboratory of Dr. Gonghong Wei at the Center is inviting application for exchanging and CSC-supported PhD students, and visiting scholars. The research group focuses on fundamental roles of the ETS family transcription factors in the cell growth control, prostate cancer and leukemia. There are nearly 30 ETS members in the human and mouse genomes, respectively. We aim to address on a genome-wide scale how the oncogenic ETS family members contribute targeting specificity in the specific cancer-type context? What mechanisms confer the unique biological roles of the ETS factors in vivo? We will apply ChIP-seq, FAIRE-seq, DNase-seq and 3C-derived methods in combination with the next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology to map ETS cistrome, epigenetic profile, open chromatin context and long-range chromatin interactome. We will also perform RNA-seq/Affymetrix chip to capture the transcriptome landscape/expression profiling after perturbation of individual ETS member. The resulting regulatory genomic data will be further applied to determining the functional genetic variants identified by genome-wide association studies. The critical ETS targets of clinical interest will be deeply validated in multiple animal models including transgenic and knockin/out mice. Qualifications The candidate should hold or have a to-be-achieved MSc or PhD in molecular cell biology or a related field as well as strong motivation to work in a dynamic and challenging research area of molecular medicine. The candidate should have good communication skills in English and expertise in life sciences and biomedicine.
