Dr. Baotong Xie is a new faculty in the Department of Integrative Biosciences at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). His research area is the retina development, using Drosophila as a model. Specifically, the current studies is focused on undersanding how microRNAs, the Hippos signaling pathway and conserved transcription factors are integrated into regulatory networks to ensure neuronal fate specification. OHSU is a top ranked medical school (US news #31 for research and #5 for Primary Care) and is located in Portland, Oregon, a beautiful city. 新的faculty, 學(xué)校里的個人主頁還沒建好。課題很有意思, 研究成果曾在Science發(fā)表。有些新的結(jié)果最近會發(fā)表。實驗室成員的貢獻會在發(fā)表的文章里充分體現(xiàn)�，F(xiàn)在PI自己也做一些實驗，會對新人在開始階段提供最大的幫助，這將有助于課題的進展和文章的發(fā)表。另外會根據(jù)申請人自己對職業(yè)的規(guī)劃和未來的設(shè)想，提供合適的培養(yǎng)環(huán)境和幫助。歡迎有意做博士后或公派訪問學(xué)者的同學(xué)申請, 要求生物學(xué)相關(guān)專業(yè)，有責(zé)任心和對科研嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)膽B(tài)度。具體要求和信息可直接聯(lián)系 Baotong Xie, email: xieb@ohsu.edu. |
