各位好， 本人的PI需招聘博后一枚，具體信息如下： 一、學(xué)校介紹（來源度娘） 范德堡大學(xué)（Vanderbilt University），簡稱Vandy，又名范德比爾特大學(xué)，由美國鐵路大亨科尼利爾斯·范德比爾特捐建，是位于美國田納西州納什維爾市的一所著名的國家級(jí)私立研究型大學(xué)。學(xué)校創(chuàng)立于1873年，是位于美國南方的頂級(jí)名校，也是世界一流大學(xué)之一，屬于25所新常春藤盟校。2016年范德堡大學(xué)位列US News全美大學(xué)綜合排名第15位，僅次于杜克大學(xué)位居南方第2，以其出色的教育質(zhì)量和較強(qiáng)的科研實(shí)力，享有“南方哈佛”（Harvard of the South）的美譽(yù)。 作為一所精英學(xué)府，范德堡大學(xué)擁有11個(gè)學(xué)院，并在商、法、醫(yī)、教四大學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域穩(wěn)居北美一流行列，享有南方第一貴族名門的盛譽(yù)。教育學(xué)院全美頂尖。法學(xué)院為美國法學(xué)院中的老牌勁旅，依賴校友會(huì)與一些顯赫的商業(yè)財(cái)團(tuán)和華爾街最有權(quán)勢的律師事務(wù)所保持密切的關(guān)系。醫(yī)學(xué)院為中田納西唯一的一級(jí)外傷中心。杰出校友包括了2名美國副總統(tǒng)，7名諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)得主，25名羅德學(xué)者，以及多名普利策獎(jiǎng)得主，菲爾茲獎(jiǎng)得主，奧斯卡獎(jiǎng)得主等。 二、PI簡介 Young-Jae received his M.D. at Seoul National University of College of Medicine in South Korea. He completed his Ph.D work at Albert Einstein College of Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Rick Kitsis. Following Internal Medicine Residency training, he entered Physician-Scientist Training pathway in Cardiovascular Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. After clinical cardiology training, he joined Dr. Eric Olson’s lab where he studied cardiac reprogramming. He is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Department of Cell and Developmental Biology and Vanderbilt Center for Stem Cell Biology at Vanderbilt. 三、博后職位介紹 A postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated Ph.D. who will dedicate his/her postdoctoral study in the field of “heart regeneration”, “stem cell biology” and “reprogramming”. The projects involve in generating new heart muscle cells using reprogramming techniques in vitro and in vivo and investigating mechanistic basis of cardiac cell fate specification. Expertise in molecular cloning and genome editing is required.
