In this work, the damping properties of thermal barrier coatings were studies in detail, and key mechanisms of damping effect were analyzed. In addition, we briefly explored the significance of modulus on the damping properties in this system, preliminary conclusions were reached by using theoritical designs and confirmed by experimental testings, which to our knowledge, has rarely been reported. |
