Research Assistant/Associate Positions in Electrical Engineering General Description: Highly motivated candidates are sought for a Research Assistant/Associate position in the lab of EV and Power Electronic. The EV and Power Electronic lab works at the EVs and related technologies, like battering charging, energy balancing, motors, power distributions, and also polymers which use non-metal micro-structure as the filling to provide the distributed air-gap. This will reduce the amount of the metal used. The selection of non-metal micro-structure filling reduces the cost and makes the overall structure flexible. The work will include: a) Examination of the suitable non-magnetic materials for textile intergap: This is to develop for the creation of the distributed air-gap as in the transformer for the adjustment of the permeability in order to make it possible for the radiation screening. b) Modelling: The method will be examined and to develop a simple method to access the electromagnetic performance. Derive the equivalent model from the analysis and then the model will provide a good representation of the method c) Examine the non-magnetic and magnetic mixing performance in various ratios under high frequncy operation. Selection of filler will be examined. d) Simple prototype development: In this stage a simple prototype will be made to examine the concept Applications consisting of a cover letter, including a description of relevant research experience and anticipated availability date, a complete curriculum vitae (including a complete list of publications), and contact information.
