Research Fellow Recruitment The Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) is a unique interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by National Research Foundation, Singapore Ministry of Education, Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore. Hosted by the NTU in partnership with NUS, SCELSE is linking new insights from the life sciences with expertise from the emerging technologies in engineering and natural sciences to understand, harness and control microbial communities. SCELSE seeks to recruit a computationally focused post-doctoral fellow to work within a multidisciplinary programme that aims to develop compounds to stabilise biological membranes for use in bioprocesses such as biofuel production. The project is funded by a 3-year grant from the Ministry of Education of Singapore (AcRF-Tier 2). Requirements The position would suit a highly motivated computational chemist with experience in bio-molecular simulations, in particular molecular dynamics simulations of membrane systems at an atomistic and/or CG level. The position will focus on developing a theoretical framework for predicting the effect of specific compounds on the stability of bio-membranes and their tolerance to membrane disrupting agents. · PhD in Computational Biophysics or a related discipline · Strong communication and data analysis skills · Ability to work independently or collaboratively · Direct experience in force field development and performing molecular dynamics simulation of bio-membranes Application Procedure Interested applicants for the above position should send a cover letter describing their research experience, interests and curriculum vitae to SCELSE-HR@ntu.edu.sg. 申請(qǐng)者需要發(fā)一封cover letter(描述自己的研究經(jīng)歷)和簡(jiǎn)歷到SCELSE-HR@ntu.edu.sg.
