| 稀土、過渡金屬以及非稀土離子摻雜的熒光玻璃在激光、閃爍體、光學放大器、顯示器、照明和光通訊等光電子領域有著潛在的應用前景。目前，熒光玻璃中最常見的應用是長余輝熒光玻璃，諸如可應用在藝術、建筑、燈具玻璃等領域，熒光玻璃的另一個潛在應用是代替熒光粉，應用于白光LED的熒光玻璃，具有其獨特的優(yōu)勢：首先在封裝過程中無需使用環(huán)氧樹脂，從而避免了樹脂老化變黃、由此引起的發(fā)光效率降低以及色漂移等情況，具有耐高溫、光穩(wěn)定性好等特點；而且玻璃比封裝在樹脂中的熒光粉更容易回收。即更環(huán)保，再者，在玻璃相中，可以避免濕氣的影響，所以具有耐濕熱的功能。 |

Another potential application of fluorescent glass is as surrogate of fluorescent powder. 應用于白光LED的熒光玻璃，具有其獨特的優(yōu)勢： The fluorescent glass used in white light LED product has some special advantages. 首先在封裝過程中無需使用環(huán)氧樹脂，從而避免了樹脂老化變黃、由此引起的發(fā)光效率降低以及色漂移等情況，具有耐高溫、光穩(wěn)定性好等特點； Firstly, no epoxide resin must be used in sealing procedure, which effectively avoids resin aging and yellow discoloration that could cut down light emission effect and cause light wavelength shift. The fluorescent glass has good thermostability and photostability. 而且玻璃比封裝在樹脂中的熒光粉更容易回收。即更環(huán)保，再者，在玻璃相中，可以避免濕氣的影響，所以具有耐濕熱的功能。 Secondly, glass material could be easily recycled instead of fluorescent powder sealed in resin tube, that is to said, fluorescent glass is more environment friendly.
