APS要推出材料專刊了Physical Review Materials

材料領域期刊的影響因子太彪悍了, 什么ACS旗下的NanoLett、ACS nano、Jacs 還有Wiley旗下的AM、AFM、AEM,ACIE等等 APS終于按耐不住了,要推出新的期刊 APS Launches Physical Review Materials APS is excited to announce the launch of Physical Review Materials, the latest addition to the Physical Review family of journals. Targeted to start publishing in mid 2017, PRMaterials will provide a common publication and reference source to the expanding community of physicists, materials scientists, chemists, engineers, and researchers in related disciplines that carry out high-quality original research in materials.” PRMaterials expands the scope of the existing APS journals beyond their current emphasis on the physics of materials. This new journal will offer a publication option for a wide variety of materials research, including papers that analyze, characterize, design, or synthesize novel materials of great interest to the multidisciplinary community engaged in materials research. PRMaterials particularly welcomes papers that transcend conventional subject boundaries and are presented in a form accessible to readers from different disciplines. PRMaterials will allow APS to move into new disciplines and attract new authors and readers to the Physical Review collection. It will maintain the same quality and reputation that authors, readers, and subscribers expect from APS.
