Email: jiazhao@uow.edu.au 鋰空氣電池 Project: Australian Research Council Project entitled “Lithium-Ion Air Batteries with Non-Flammable Ionic Liquid–Based Electrolytes: A Platform for Safety in Lithium-Air Batteries.” The aim of this Australian Research Council project is to develop safe rechargeable lithium-ion air batteries with non-flammable ionic-liquid–based electrolytes. This novel electrochemical system consisting of air cathode, lithiated compound anode, and non-flammable ionic-liquid-based electrolyte will be developed to improve the safety of typical lithium-air batteries. The proposal consist of four tasks: (1) the development of new air cathode materials with high energy and power densities; (2) design and development of new lithiated compound anode materials; (3) preparation and selection of ionic-liquid-based electrolytes, and (4) establishment of novel, safe, high energy and power density lithium-ion air battery systems using selected advanced electrode materials and ionic-liquid-based electrolytes developed during the project. 鋰硫電池 Project: Australian Research Council Project entitled “Development of Novel Safe Lithium Metal-Free Sulfur Batteries” The aim of this project is to develop a novel lithium metal-free sulfur battery system and technology to lead to the commercialization of safe sulfur based batteries. This new battery system will employ conventional anode materials for lithium-ion batteries to replace the lithium metal, and then combines this kind of anode with a lithium sulfide cathode to make lithium-ion sulfur batteries. |
