NTU is also placed 1st amongst the world’s best young universities and ranked 4th globally for Engineering and Technology. Our school is one of the largest EEE schools in the world and ranks 6th in the field of Electrical & Electronic Engineering in the 2017 QS World University Rankings by Subjects. In this project, we focus on developing the lower power camera system. Power consumption is a critical factor for the deployment of surveillance camera. Applications driven camera design reduce the portion of the power consumption allocated to image sensing. It is possible to use machine learning method to detect human behaviour and use the results to reduce the power consumption. Candidate with good knowledge in machine learning, low light imaging and video analytics are welcomed to apply. |
