Today,I’m gonna talk about something about music. Music is an indispensable part of my life, and I can’t imagine a day spent without listening to a piece of song.I am a Chinese ,but most songs I listen to are written in English. Of course,I know about English and I can read English with little obstacle. I’ve learned English for 12 years and I’ve been into it in recently years. To be honest,I thought listening to English songs could help improve my English and that’s it. Gradually,I find myself fall into the ocean of music. I have found two characteristics in English songs that are not shared by Chinese songs. Firstly,it is the style. The melody expressed from English songs is more deep, strong and quick than that from Chinese songs. Secondly,it is the Connotation behind the English songs. After all,those songs are written based on some backgrounds that are not familiar to people from different ones. But people like me who have learned English over a long period of time, are able to appreciate some similarities and differences between Chinese songs and English songs, and incorporated their feelings into those exotic cultures. Music is boundless and can be shared by people across the world. It is part of humans’ life and it helps people a lot. Do you like music? What kind of music do you like best?
