大家?guī)臀铱纯床臀一卮鹣乱幌聦徃迦说膯栴},萬分感謝 Reviewer #1: In this MS, Yuan et al. report a novel Cd-based MOF and its luminescent properties which are affected by presence of Fe(III). In general, the work is interesting and it may be suitable for Polyhedron, but there are a great number of serious problems which are to be resolved/commented first. Question 1: First of all, although the crystal structure seems to be really new, there are MOFs based on the same ligand; moreover, there is at least one Cd-MOF, and it was prepared using the very similar methodology (Lv-Bing Yuan et al., J. Solid State Chem. 2017, 255, 200). In this work, lum properties of both free ligand and MOF are reported. Unfortunately, this work is not cited in the MS - this must be corrected, and detailed comparision of the structures and (especially!!!) lum properties must be given. Question 2: From the text of MS, it is not clear whether it is a guest-free MOS or not. The authors give a formula which correspoinds to the guest-free compound, but the other data give a clear evidence that it is not true: a) Alert A in CheckCIF. Most likely, it is due to the free space filled by guest molecules, a usual situation in MOF chemistry. It is clear that localization of guests is problematic due to a higher symmetry, but this point must be commented, b) inconsistent element analysis data (please note also that the calculated C and H contents are wrong!), c) TG data (first steps of mass loss). The authors state that the mass loss corresponds to the elimination of H2O (more than 10%!) That is not impossible, but it may be DMA as well, especially considering that the process completes at approx. 300 C! To prove it, MS of gas products must be done. Overall, authors must give the real formula of the product and provide reasonable arguments in its favor. Question 3: Please comment also on amplification of lum upon addition of Na+ and Ca2+ nitrate solutions, Question 4: please provide quantum yields for lum experiments (if this equipment is available). Reviewer #2: The structure reported by the authors as well as the properties which are associated ti it are quite interesting. I have the following suggestions/observations: Question 1: the word "microporous" is confusing and must be removed from the title; actually the dimensions of the pores are at nano level. Question 2: The amount of the absorbed water (10.4%) is surprisingly high. Did the authors observe the water molecules in the crystal structure? |
