英國華威大學(xué)(University of Warwick) Assistant Professor Dr. Tianhua Xu課題組招收光通信網(wǎng)絡(luò)、深度學(xué)習(xí)、數(shù)字信號處理方向CSC博士、博士后、訪問學(xué)者1-2名,優(yōu)秀者可提供獎學(xué)金 The rapid increase in data traffic in the past years and traffic forecasts will lead to capacity exhaust in the optical networks infrastructure which carries over 95% of all data services. Meeting the ever-growing information rate demands has become of utmost importance for optical communication networks. Optical fibre channel is nonlinear, that is, its refractive index, is dependent on signal intensity. At high power densities, the combination of fibre nonlinear effects, dispersion as well as laser phase fluctuation and transceiver noise will lead to nonlinear distortions, limiting both achievable capacities, spectral efficiencies and transmission distances. New research and development is critically required not only for finding new native nonlinear communication techniques but also transferring them into practical, error-resilient networks. Research Topics 1. Machine Learning and Signal Processing in Optical Communication Systems 2. Physical Layer Properties in Linear and Nonlinear Optical Communication Networks 3. Transceiver Design for Linear and Nonlinear Optical Communications 4. Information and Coding Theory for Nonlinear Optical Channels and Networks 5. Optical Fibre Sensing and Optical Fibre Sensor Networks University of Warwick has ranked 51st in QS 2017, 57th in QS 2018 and 54th in QS 2019 World University Rankings, and consistently ranks in the top 10 of all major rankings of British universities.
