請(qǐng)直接聯(lián)系mailto:marcello.caleffi@unina.it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PhD Studentship: Quantum Internet design Starting date: Fall 2019 Duration of study: full-time, three years fixed term Application deadline: July 1st, 2019 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Future communications LaboratorY (FLY) at University of Naples Federico II, Italy, is looking for self-motivated full-time Ph.D. students within the first Italian inter-university PhD program in Quantum Technologies. The PhD program is jointly offered by the University of Napoli Federico II, the National Council of Research (CNR) and the University of Camerino. The annual scholarship amounts to 15.343,28 Euros, including social welfare charges. The grant covers the entire time duration of the doctorate program, and the starting date is expected to be Fall 2019, once the suitable candidates pass the open competition announced by the University. The selected candidates will perform cutting-edge research in the area of Quantum Internet design. Please visit www.quantuminternet.it for further information. An ideal candidate will have enthusiasm and passion for performing quality research as well as patience to tackle academically challenging problems. The candidates should meet the following criteria: - Holding or expecting an M.S. degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related engineering disciplines - Strong background in mathematics and analytical thinking. - Solid written and communication skills in English. - Background in wireless communications, computer networks, signal processing or quantum mechanics is desirable, but interested candidates from other areas are also welcome. - Ability to pursue independent research. - Ability to work in an inter-disciplinary team.
