![]() ![]() ![]() 如題,投稿ml的一篇文章審了一個月之后,今日看到郵件直接reject,還算淡定,首先自己準備的也是不充分,不過很感謝那位編輯老師給的意見,寫了把九條,特別詳細,也比較中肯,我復(fù)制粘貼一下郵件原文,請前輩們幫忙看看:thank you for submitting the above paper. we have now received comments on your paper and regret to say that we must turn this paper down. the reviewer recommended that a major revision is needed. based on the policy of the journal, a major revision is a mandatory rejection. for your guidance, comments from the review/s are appended below. thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your work. we will be happy to receive other contributions from you. yours sincerely, professor jenn-ming yang editor materials letters editor's/reviewers' comments: reviewer #1: the present article is certainly providing a new knowledge on fabrication of inconel 718 components using waam technology. in general, it is well organized, and it can be considered for publication provided the following issues could be addressed or clarified in the article: (1) in the introduction, the reference [9] cannot be tracked in the journal of mechanical engineering, it has not been found published elsewhere. please address it. (2) authors should introduce the cp-gtaw acronym when it first appeared in the manuscript. (3) what does it mean by the term 'section shrinkage' at the line 4 in the first paragraph of experimental section? (4) due to the pulse frequency in the range of 1khz to 100khz as authors introduced, what is the rational for selecting frequency of 40hz for this study? was it an optimized parameter from previous experiment? what is the influences of frequency on material property? (5) where were the metallographic samples selected from the as-deposited block? were they from vertical cross-section or horizontal plane? since anisotropic mechanical properties were observed for build sample, are there any significant differences in the microstructure at various locations? also, the correlations between microstructure and mechanical strength should be discussed comprehensively for this research. (6) provide clear images and markings for fig.1, bit difficult to read. (7) in conclusion, the grains were refined by ultra-high frequency pulsed arc. the decrease of laves phase and mc carbides should be attributing to the post-heat treatment as indicated in discussion. please make a correct description. (8) language is readable but really falls short of the standard required for a journal publication. i would suggest that it may be useful to engage a professional english language editor following an improvement of the paper. (9) this study provides information of material property analysis on inconel 718 structures fabricated by pulse arc additive manufacturing using high frequency. the novelty and impact of this article have, to some extent, shortcomings in my view. many previous researchers, see attached references [1-3], have been working in this field and similar results of grain refinement to this study have been reported when high pulse frequency. therefore, this manuscript would be better if authors could discuss the difference in inconel alloy deposition when the proposed manufacturing process used. reference [1] q. wu, z. ma, g. chen, c. liu, d. ma, s. ma, obtaining fine microstructure and unsupported overhangs by low heat input pulse arc additive manufacturing, journal of manufacturing processes 27 (2017) 198-206. [3] j. guo, y. zhou, c. liu, q. wu, x. chen, j. lu, wire arc additive manufacturing of az31 magnesium alloy: grain refinement by adjusting pulse frequency, materials 9(10) (2016) 823. 以上是郵件原文,首先第一條那個參考文件9,是北航齊鉑金老師的一篇文章,肯定是能搜到的,只不過原文是中文,我引用的時候?qū)懙氖撬挠⑽男畔,是不是這樣引用文獻不可以呢? 然后2、3、4應(yīng)該是一些概念性的問題,因為篇幅限制,其實有好幾個點我并沒有展開說,估計是在這兒讓編輯老師挑了下毛病,改起來難度不大,第5點是一個試驗性的問題,我沒有擴展說明,如果展開說了這個參數(shù)選定時的優(yōu)化過程那可就多了,暫時還沒想好怎么處理這一點;第六點是圖的問題,我的錯。。。。 第七點說的結(jié)論,我覺得編輯老師可能沒完全看懂,熱處理優(yōu)化晶粒是一方面,但我是對比的傳統(tǒng)工藝和我這個工藝都在熱處理后,晶粒的細化程度是有區(qū)別的,所以在優(yōu)化性能上更有優(yōu)勢,也許也是我的表述不夠清晰。。。。第8點是我的英語表達,我在寫的時候確實是奔著通俗易懂的方向?qū)懙,不過可能太通俗了,老師覺得不夠科技文化吧,我的英文水平?jīng)]有說多好的程度,但肯定不差,而且寫的時候我下載了兩三篇同樣是這個領(lǐng)域,且已經(jīng)是ml錄用的手稿,邊寫邊讀,去體會他們的語言是如何表達自己的試驗成果的,可能還是程度不夠這位老師的標準。(這位編輯老師的要求感覺的確是挺嚴格的,我查了一下,應(yīng)該是加州大學(xué)的一位華裔教授,確實認真);最后一點可能是說我的新穎度不夠,在后來給我列出了三個參考文獻里,都是和增材制造有關(guān)的、優(yōu)化組織晶粒相關(guān)的文章,論增材工藝的話,我的課題試驗在創(chuàng)新度上肯定不亞于這幾篇文章的內(nèi)容,想請教前輩們,是不是編輯老師在側(cè)面說我要改變陳述的角度,我這篇文章里沒有把創(chuàng)新點給突出出來?? 最后打算就是把這些問題都認認真真改一遍、檢查幾番,我也搜了下小木蟲,投了ml被拒之后還能不能再投,有說能的,如果按照這位老師都改好了直接錄用很容易中,也有說即使再投還是極有可能被拒,所以我又意識到這是個仁者見仁智者見智的問題,每個人情況不一樣就不能一概而論了,礙于時間比較緊,暫時真的不知道如果改投其他能投哪里,所以還是打算修改后重新投,好在寫這篇文章的前期我是做足了技術(shù)審查的功夫,基本沒問題直接過了技術(shù)審查,還是我沒有把自己的內(nèi)容給包裝好,希望重投可以有個好結(jié)果。。。祈禱祈禱。!也請前輩們有什么想法可以對小弟指點一二,感激不盡,金幣可以追加,小紅花小紅花。。。。 |
