美國RIT羅徹斯特理工招收2020年機器學(xué)習(xí)ML計算機視覺CV博士生，聯(lián)培博士生

美國羅徹斯特理工大學(xué) （Rochester Institute of Technology） 圖像科學(xué)中心 (https://www.cis.rit.edu/) Intelligent Vision and Sensing 實驗室現(xiàn)有1－2名博士生名額（包括5萬的tuition fee和2萬7的stipend），以及1－2個csc資助的博士名額（5萬美金的學(xué)費由導(dǎo)師提供），于2020年秋季入學(xué)。主要研究方向為計算機視覺。歡迎有計算機視覺／深度學(xué)習(xí)／機器人／自動駕駛等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域背景及較強編程能力的學(xué)生報名申請。同時招收國家留學(xué)基金委資助聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士生，訪問學(xué)者。 RIT位于美國紐約州羅徹斯特市，是一所著名私立型理工學(xué)院,擁有近200年的建校史。在美國國內(nèi)排名 （依據(jù)美國最權(quán)威 US News）為全美第97名，工程科技領(lǐng)域排名第61名， 最具價值大學(xué)第41名。 RIT的圖像科學(xué)中心建立了RIT第一個和當(dāng)前最大的PhD項目。同時是美國的第一個圖像科學(xué)系和第一個和僅有的兩個之一可以授予圖像科學(xué)博士學(xué)位的院系（另一個為University of Washington St Louis）。當(dāng)前與 John Hopkins University Center for Imaing Science, University of Washington St Louis Imaging Science Program, Vanderbilt University Institute for Imaging Science 并列為美國僅有的Imaging Science 專門研究機構(gòu)。在RIT圖像科學(xué)中心，學(xué)生將接受包括計算機視覺，遙感，圖像處理，醫(yī)療圖像，機器學(xué)習(xí)，人類視覺等各個相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的訓(xùn)練。 Prof. Guoyu Lu主要研究計算機視覺和深度學(xué)習(xí)，尤其是3D視覺和機器視覺領(lǐng)域以及其在自動駕駛和增強現(xiàn)實領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用。同時與圖像科學(xué)中心其他教授合作將計算機視覺和深度學(xué)習(xí)開拓到遙感，人類視覺等領(lǐng)域。 如有興趣，請發(fā)送簡歷至Prof Guoyu Lu （luguoyu@cis.rit.edu）,申請截止日期為1月15日. PhD and Visiting Scholar/Student position in Computer Vision at RIT Center for Imaging Science The Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) (https://www.cis.rit.edu/) has 1-2 PhD position (including $50K tuition and $27K stipend) and 1-2 CSC-supported PhD available (covering the $50K tuition by the supervisor)，starting from 2020 Fall. The PhD position is mainly on computer vision. Students with background in one or more areas around computer vision/deep learning/robotics/autonomous driving and strong programming skills are welcome to apply. Meanwhile, the lab also welcomes PhD applicants and visiting scholars and students supported by CSC in long term. RIT is located in Rochester of New York State. It is a well-known private university with almost 200 years history. Based on the most authoritative US News ranking, RIT is ranked 97th among all the US national universities, 61st in best engineering programs and 41st in best value schools. The Center for Imaging Science at RIT has the first and currently the largest and best-funded PhD program in RIT. Meanwhile, the RIT Center for Imaging Science established the first and one of the only two PhD programs in imaging science in USA (the other one is University of Washington St Louis). Currently, the RIT Center for Imaging Science, together with the John Hopkins University Center for Imaging Science, University of Washington St Louis Imaging Science Program, Vanderbilt University Institute for Imaging Science, are the only research institutions in Imaging Science in USA. In RIT Center for Imaging Science, students will receive training from all areas related to images (computer vision, remote sensing, image processing, machine/deep learning, human vision, optics, etc). Prof. Guoyu Lu's research topics are mainly in computer vision and deep learning, particularly on 3D vision and robot vision areas with their applications on autonomous driving and augmented reality. Meanwhile, collaborating with other professors in the center, his group is exploring the applications of computer vision and deep learning in remote sensing, human vision, and other domains.
