新加坡南洋理工大學 倪冉教授課題組 招博士 --計算軟物質(zhì)物理

倪冉教授課題組致力于通過數(shù)值方法(如Monte Carlo,分子動力學模擬)以及理論分析研究軟物質(zhì)物理。目前的研究方向包括DNA修飾膠體粒子的組裝,活力物質(zhì)的動態(tài)組裝,2D體系中的相變以及仿生體系的組裝,可能的新方向包括流體力學模擬、深度學習在軟物質(zhì)以及統(tǒng)計物理中的應用,研究方向也可以雙方討論決定。更多信息歡迎訪問課題組網(wǎng)站: https://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/r.ni 現(xiàn)課題組招一名2021年1月入學的博士生。課題組提供有國際競爭力的博士生薪酬和交叉學科的研究環(huán)境。歡迎物理、化學、計算機等相關學科的同學申請,感興趣的同學請直接聯(lián)系倪冉老師: r.ni@ntu.edu.sg。 具體申請條件: 1. 畢業(yè)學校 Grades from Overseas Universities (Based on First Degree): Relevant Bachelor Degree with 1st Class Honours or equivalent (如果來自全球top10的學校,比如劍橋,second class upper也許也可以) Grades from China Universities (Based on First Degree): Relevant Bachelor Degree with average grade of 85% or better (985大學畢業(yè)) 2. 語言成績 GRE: (V) ≥ 153, (Q) ≥ 149, (AW) ≥ 3.5 and V+Q ≥ 319 TOEFL: Internet Based Test ≥ 105 或 IELTS ≥ 7.0。 歡迎被疫情耽誤的優(yōu)秀本科生聯(lián)系倪老師。 There will be a PhD opening for 2020 August intake in my group in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Our group focuses on theoretical soft matter physics using numerical techniques, e.g. Monte Carlo, molecular dynamics, Brownian dynamics simulations, etc., and theoretical techniques, e.g. (dynamic) mean field theories and linear response theories, etc. The projects we are working on now span from the programable assembly of DNA coated building blocks to the non-equilibrium dynamic assembly of active colloids and various phase transitions in 2D systems and self-assembly of biomimetic systems. The project for the new PhD student will be likely on something new, and we hope the PhD student will be able to open a new direction in addition to the present focus of the group. Possible directions could be hydrodynamic simulation and/or theory of active matter or deep learning assisted sampling of disordered systems or something else mutually agreed. Therefore, we are looking for highly motivated candidates, and we will offer internationally highly competitive remuneration and a multidisciplinary research environment. |
