PhD Positions in Materials/Manufacturing at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA

two ph.d. research assistant positions (full scholarship) are available immediately in the research area of materials engineering or advanced manufacturing, starting in the summer or fall 2021. the candidates are expected to have master and bachelor degrees in materials science or engineering, lasers, nuclear engineering, advanced manufacturing, or related engineering discipline. the candidates with a master degree and publications are preferred. candidates need to satisfy the graduate admission requirements in english (toefl 79 or ietls 6.5, and a gre score). candidates please email the cv to: bcui3@unl.edu. shortlisted candidates will be interviewed. the successful candidates will join in the research lab of associate professor bai cui at the department of mechanical and materials engineering at university of nebraska-lincoln (unl). the webpage of prof. cui is: https://engineering.unl.edu/mme/faculty/bai-cui/ students will have access to use the start-of-art facilities at dr. cui's lab and the nebraska center for materials and nanoscience: https://www.unl.edu/ncmn/central-facilities unl is the flagship university of the state of nebraska, usa, and is an active member of the “big ten conference”. its engineering programs are expanding in recent years, and currently ranks approximately 80 in the us news. lincoln is a city ranked as one of the happiest city in the us, with a very safe environment, friendly people, clean air, short commutes, and a very low living cost. omaha is about 40 minute drive. once selected, the online application should be submitted through the ph.d. program in materials engineering. https://engineering.unl.edu/grad ... erials-engineering/ |
