加拿大Queen's University招兩年博后 交叉方向：物理 海洋學(xué) 數(shù)學(xué) 工程

方向我也講不清楚，自己看吧。今天收到的郵件，轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)給大家希望多來(lái)些中國(guó)學(xué)者~ 如果來(lái)了可以聯(lián)系我~ The Department of Civil Engineering, Queen’s University at Kingston, invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship (PDF) position in Environmental Fluid Mechanics. The PDF willwork on the numerical modelling component of a large interdisciplinary multi-agency project. We will combine molecular genetics (Chris Wilson/Yingming Zhao, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry), laboratory experiments (Josef Ackerman, University of Guelph) and numerical simulations (Leon Boegman, Queen’s University; Dan Shan, Royal Military College) to discriminate larval origins, identify spawning grounds, and estimate larval production for two commercial fishery species (i.e., walleye and lake whitefish) in Lake Erie. Qualified candidates should have a doctoral degree in a relevant subject (Engineering, Physics/Oceanography, Mathematics, Physical Sciences), working knowledge of Reynolds-averaged lake/ocean models and familiarity with Matlab. Postdoctoral Fellowship salary is a minimum full-time equivalent no less than the minimum $35,249, in accordance with the PSAC 901, Unit 2, Appendix A extension agreement. Salary to be commensurate with experience.
