新加坡科技設(shè)計大學(xué)段凌杰教授招聘2022春季博士生 (申請截止日期為2021年9月30日): • 段教授及其科研團隊資料 https://esd.sutd.edu.sg/faculty/lingjie-duan/ • 博士生招聘信息 https://esd.sutd.edu.sg/academics/phd-programme/ PhD opening at SUTD: 2022 January intake Established under strong support from MIT, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) plans to do for Singapore what MIT has done for Massachusetts and Silicon Valley, as well as for the world. SUTD is conducting top-tier research and education. In 2017, SUTD was ranked by Clarivate Analytics as the 5th most influential scientific research university in telecommunications in the world. SUTD was also ranked the 6th in electrical engineering research in the world. At SUTD, Prof. Lingjie Duan (https://esd.sutd.edu.sg/faculty/lingjie-duan/) is a pioneer to lead the inter-disciplinary research area combining information/AI engineering and economic theory. He leads the Network Economics and Optimization Lab (NEOL,網(wǎng)絡(luò)經(jīng)濟與優(yōu)化實驗室) at SUTD, supported by around 10-million US dollars’ funding and the prestigious MIT-SUTD Joint Postdoctoral Programme in the past few years. His interdisciplinary research contribution is widely acknowledged, and he received the SUTD Excellence in Research Award in 2016 and the 10th Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award in 2015. He is now an Editor of both IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (IEEE TWC), and was also a Guest Editor of IEEE Journals on Selected Areas in Communications (IEEE JSAC). He is looking for self-motivated PhD students who have strong engineering or math background and are passionate in cutting-edge research about multi-agent machine learning, sharing economics, resource allocation, network optimization, and networked artificial intelligence in various information engineering areas. The applicants can be undergraduate and master students about to graduate in related majors, such as electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, (applied) math, economics, and control. His PhD students may be provided with the full scholarship to cover everything including tuition and living expense. NEOL members have rich opportunities to collaborate with MIT and other top universities. Several past NEOL members have become professors in descent universities.
