[交流] 密歇根州立大學(xué)(Michigan State University) Weiyi Lu課題組招收博士生

The research group of Dr. Weiyi Lu at Michigan State University is looking for one passionate and highly self-motivated Ph.D. students to join the research group in Spring or Fall 2022.

Dr. Weiyi Lu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan State University. The main future research areas of the prospective student are experimental mechanics, including dynamic behavior of advanced nanofluidics-enabled composites, 3D-DIC, among others. Interested students should directly send a cover letter and CV with TOFEL/IELTS and GRE scores to Dr. Lu (wylu@egr.msu.edu). Please use the subject line "Application for Ph.D. Position".

Preference:
               1) The candidate must have already earned or should soon earn the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and
                     Engineering, Chemical Engineering or in a closely related field.
               2) Background in materials processing, materials characterization, experimental mechanics, and dynamic impacts is preferred
               3) Experience in Matlab, LabView, and Solidworks
               4) Fluent in English, good written and verbal communication skills

Minimum GRE scores of 160 for the quantitative section, 150 for the verbal section, and 3.0 for the analytical writing section.
A minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL (19 in each category except writing which is 22) or 6.5 on the IELTS 6.5.
