新加坡國立大學(xué) civil and environmental engineering， Dr Prateek Bansal 招收2022年秋季入學(xué)全獎博士。研究方向為 Bayesian Machine Learning, Causal Econometrics, Transport Economics。歡迎感興趣的同學(xué)聯(lián)系Dr Prateek Bansal （ceev236@nus.edu.sg, pb422@cornell.edu）。 Brief Bio: Dr Bansal received his PhD degree from Cornell University (2019), MS from The University of Texas at Austin (2015), and B.Tech. from IIT Delhi (2013). Prior to joining the National University of Singapore as an assistant professor (with the Presidential Young Professorship fellowship), Dr Bansal was Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at Imperial College London. He is mainly interested in creating methodological innovations at the intersection of Bayesian Machine Learning, Econometrics, and Causal Inference to address challenging questions in travel/consumer behaviour modeling and traffic safety. Dr Bansal regularly publishes his work in top peer-reviewed journals including Transportation Research Part A, B, and C. PhD Fellowship Detail: The PhD student would be expected to have or develop a strong background in statistics and computer programming. The student would have the freedom to choose the research topics, but they should broadly fall under the research areas described on his webpage （https://www.prateekbansal.org/）. The nature of work would be mostly methodological, but the inspiration to develop methods would be derived from real-world transport problems.
