英國(guó)拉夫堡大學(xué)航空與汽車(chē)工程系（https://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/aae/）控制課題組招聘三年制全獎(jiǎng)博士研究生。拉夫堡大學(xué)航空與汽車(chē)工程學(xué)院在業(yè)界享有聲譽(yù)。汽車(chē)工程專業(yè)始于1919年，而航空工程始于1935年。學(xué)院與bae系統(tǒng)工程公司（全球第二大的軍事制造商）、賓利公司、英國(guó)航空、福特汽車(chē)、蓮花集團(tuán)、美洲豹路虎公司、jcb杰西博工程機(jī)械公司、mira、cat卡特彼勒公司、勞斯萊斯公司等有著特別緊密而長(zhǎng)期的合作。學(xué)院同時(shí)也是勞斯萊斯大學(xué)技術(shù)中心（utc）燃燒流體動(dòng)力學(xué)和卡特公司革新與研究中心（irc）的所在地。目前陳教授代領(lǐng)的控制課題組主要研究方向?yàn)槠?chē)的智能控制，人車(chē)路協(xié)同控制，宏觀電動(dòng)交通控制與管理，飛行器控制及應(yīng)用，機(jī)器視覺(jué)及強(qiáng)化學(xué)習(xí)算法在車(chē)輛與無(wú)人機(jī)控制中的應(yīng)用。團(tuán)隊(duì)依托拉夫堡大學(xué)航空與汽車(chē)工程學(xué)院國(guó)際領(lǐng)先的實(shí)驗(yàn)條件和計(jì)算資源，承擔(dān)了包括英國(guó)innovate uk，epsrc，apc在內(nèi)的多項(xiàng)重大項(xiàng)目。目前已經(jīng)與英國(guó)劍橋大學(xué)、帝國(guó)理工大學(xué)等知名高校和捷豹、路虎、懷特汽車(chē)等知名企業(yè)建立良好的合作關(guān)系。 project title: intelligent control for autonomous vehicles project description: one of the biggest challenges of autonomous driving is safety. reliable and safe intelligent control schemes are essential for achieving the autonomous functionalities. this project offers a unique opportunity to develop intelligent control algorithms enabling improved sensing, reliability, and safety. it can unlock enhanced and adaptive functionalities, including but not limited to efficient autonomous breaking, driving condition monitoring, and reliable vehicle merging. the novel control schemes will be based on the combination of a computationally efficient nonlinear control (e.g. adaptive model predictive control) and artificial intelligence for ensuring quick response while satisfying safety objectives. the potential of the control schemes will be analysed and tested in our developed vehicle simulator and test platform. supervisor: dr. chengyuan liu and prof. wen-hua chen (https://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/aae/staff/chengyuan-liu/); (https://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/aae/staff/wen-hua-chen/) entry requirement: you should have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification) in a relevant subject. a relevant master's degree and/or experience will be an advantage. applicants must meet the minimum english language requirements. further details are available on https://www.lboro.ac.uk/internat ... guage-requirements/. scholarship: this phd opportunity provide ￡24100 to fully cover the tuition fee for international students. how to apply: please send your cv and transcript with the email subject "phd application_your name" to dr. chengyuan liu (c.liu10@lboro.ac.uk) before application. to be eligible for the funding, application must be submitted online before 30th june 2022. please contact dr. chengyuan liu for the project reference. |
