全自動、快速微流控紙基生物傳感器的研究與開發(fā) Paper-based microfluidic devices for point-of-care disease diagnosis 培養(yǎng)方式:西交利物浦大學(xué) + 微納自動化系統(tǒng)與裝備技術(shù)研究所(蘇州) 聯(lián)合培養(yǎng) 培養(yǎng)地點(diǎn):蘇州 博士導(dǎo)師: Dr Pengfei Song(西交利物浦大學(xué)); Dr Kai Hoettges(英國利物浦大學(xué))。采用產(chǎn)教研深度融合的聯(lián)合導(dǎo)師機(jī)制。 博士學(xué)位授予單位:英國利物浦大學(xué) 培養(yǎng)資助:全額獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金(抵扣學(xué)費(fèi)折合80000元/年);博士培養(yǎng)期間,額外提供約3000元/月生活補(bǔ)助。 入學(xué)要求: 學(xué)術(shù)要求: 申請者需為工程學(xué)科,如機(jī)械工程、電氣和電子工程、材料科學(xué)和工程以及生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域。 英語語言成績要求: 雅思6.5分(單項(xiàng)不低于5.5分) 或同等水平托福、PTE成績。 Project Description Microfluidic paper-based analytical devices (μPADs) represent a powerful platform technology for point-of-care (POC) diagnostics. This project aims to fill a key technological gap in the field of paper-based microfluidics, which is the lack of automated paper-based diagnostic platforms for carrying out multi-step immunoassays in a rapid and automated fashion with low assay cost and high sensitivity. A paper-based microfluidic diagnostic platform will be developed and applied to rapid detection of COVID-19 and influenza antigen markers in a sample-in-answer-out (SIAO) manner. The specific aims include: i) to design and test a μPAD with automatically controlled paper valves for conducting automatic multi-step enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs); ii) to develop a colorimetric reader for hosting the μPAD, controlling the paper valves, and reading out the colorimetric ELISA signals; and iii) to assess the clinical performance of the paper-based platform using patient samples. The proposed diagnostic platform features low cost, ease of operation, high sensitivity, excellent specificity, and short assay time, which will significantly benefit the health of the Chinese society during the current COVID-19 pandemic and in the post-pandemic era. 西浦學(xué)術(shù)導(dǎo)師 XJTLU principal supervisor Doctor Pengfei Song: Dr. Pengfei Song (XJTLU) and Dr. Kai Hoettges (UoL) are well-recognized by publishing papers on PNAS, Nature Commutations, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Microsystems & Nanoengineering (a Nature Partner Journal).
