Ph.D. and Postdocs Openings at HKU and CityU (wireless communications and networking) for 2023
Dr. Xianhao Chen is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida (UF) in 2022, advised by Prof. Yuguang Fang. He received 2022 ECE graduate excellence award for research from UF. He has published multiple journal papers in premier venues, such as IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC), and served as a reviewer for several leading IEEE journals, such as PIEEE, TCOM, and TWC. His research interests include machine learning/federated learning, edge computing, privacy-preserving AI, wireless mesh networks, vehicular networks, and network science. Please also note that Dr. Chen's advisor Dr. Yuguang Fang will join the CS department at the City University of Hong Kong as a chair professor in August. Dr. Fang is currently recruiting both researchers (postdoc or research professors) and Ph.D. students at CityU CS.
