2nd International Conference on Advances in Call For Papers DR’2010 has a broad remit and will consider papers dealing with the development and reliability of consumer products as well as with integrity, reliability and operation of engineering structures and systems. This intentional overlap recognizes the similarities that exist in the two domains between design methodologies aimed at optimizing operational reliability, but also seeks to benefit from innovation exchange and transferability of ideas between them. Topics include: Product development methodology Sustainable and “green” product development Product development policy and regulation Product development process management Product-service-systems (PSS) Cost engineering for product development Virtual product development techniques and tools Design quality engineering Performance engineering Product lifecycle management (PLM) Structural integrity, reliability and safety System reliability Optimal design ‘Smart’ or intelligent structures Product reliability and safety evaluation Reliability methodology in design Reliability methodology in manufacturing Reliability centered maintenance Reliability testing and statistics Reliability tools for product development Education and training in product development and reliability Knowledge exchange and dissemination between academia and industry Publications All the papers submitted to the conference will be peer reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in the International Journal “Advanced Materials Research” (EI cited), which is available online in full text form at www.scientific.net. Authors of selected papers with appropriate topic and content will be invited to extend their papers to allow further peer review and publication in special issues of SCI cited journals such as “Concurrent Engineering: Research and Applications” and “International Journal of Fatigue”. |
