明尼蘇達大學藥學院Hongbo Pang實驗室誠招博后(納米,藥物化學,免疫等方向) 明尼蘇達大學擁有全美前三的藥學院以及一眾世界著名的理工科相關院系,以及著名的醫(yī)學院及癌癥研究中心。Dr. Pang的實驗室就位于新建的Masonic Cancer Center building, 環(huán)境優(yōu)美,設施先進。課題組致力于研發(fā)基于多肽的靶向藥物,疾病靶點的篩選及研發(fā),以及納米材料運輸?shù)膽眉皺C理研究。自2018年成立以來,課題組已獲得美國國立衛(wèi)生院,明尼蘇達州政府(與梅奧診所合作),以及明大的多項基金,總計超過三百萬美元(direct cost)。課題組至今在知名期刊發(fā)表十余篇論文,以及多項專利。Dr.Pang還參與了多個初創(chuàng)公司以轉化研究成果,并于今年剛剛創(chuàng)立了Boyan Therapeutics。詳情請見實驗室網(wǎng)頁,google scholar,以及Lisata Therapeutics (NASDAQ: LSTA)。 實驗室現(xiàn)計劃招聘2-3位博士后研究員。課題組現(xiàn)在有多個領域的相關課題,所以對很多背景的申請者都感興趣,尤其是有藥物化學,納米材料,動物模型建立,免疫等經(jīng)驗的會優(yōu)先考慮。明大對博士后的待遇優(yōu)厚,雙城也常年被評為全美最適合居住的城市之一。有意者請將你的簡歷以及2-3封推薦信發(fā)到pang0051@umn.edu. Postdoctoral positions in University of Minnesota, Minneapolis 2-3 postdoctoral positions are immediately available in Dr. Hongbo Pang lab, Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, University of Minnesota (Minneapolis). UMN College of Pharmacy is ranked 3rd of pharmacy school nationwide according to U.S.News. Dr. Pang did his postdoc training with Dr. Erkki Ruoslahti, who is a world-renowned scientist in phage display/peptide therapeutics, and the Lasker Awardee in 2022. Pang lab harnesses interdisciplinary technologies to discover peptide-based targeting tools and novel biomarkers, develop novel peptide-based therapies for a variety of diseases, and explore novel cellular and physiological processes. Our group has been highly productive: since established in 2018, thirteen research articles have been published in high impact journals along with multiple patents. We also received multiple major NIH, State and University grants, which sums up to over $3 Million. Besides research, Dr. Pang is also active in biotech entrepreneurship. He is involved in Lisata Therapeutics (NASDAQ: LSTA) and the founder of Boyan Therapeutics. For these positions, we are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals to join in our research effort of developing peptide-based therapeutics against a wide variety of human diseases, especially acute and chronic inflammatory conditions. Another major direction is to explore the roles of extracellular vesicles in transport macromolecule drugs into solid tumors and other tissue types. The successful candidate will be also tasked/involved with projects ranging from peptide screening, disease modeling, peptide-drug/nanotechnology synthesis and therapeutic evaluation. Our current group is highly interdisciplinary with experts in material sciences, disease modeling, immunology, obesity, cell biology, and so on. Collaboration within the group as well as externally is highly encouraged. We are interested in applicants holding a PhD degree in a broad range of biomedical or material science fields. Candidates with experience in nanotechnology or medicinal chemistry, disease modeling, immunology or molecular/cell biology are highly encouraged to apply. The candidates are also expected to have outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and writing skills.
