亞利桑那州立大學全獎博士，ME, MSE, CHE

Arizona State University Prof Qiong Nian group 招生全獎博士 Open positions: Multiple positions, 2025 Spring or Fall enrollment We are looking for several PhD students who are interested in joining either the Chemical Engineering (CHE), Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) program at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, AZ. The current tentative projects for these positions are related to areas of laser additive manfuacturing, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), graphene-metal composite, laser/microwave interaction with semiconductor thin films, inkjet printing of electronic devices, etc. The PhD positions' future projects may vary depending on further research development and candidate students' own research interests. Candidates with a strong MSE, ME, Chemistry or other relevant background are encouraged to apply. The current projects are supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Awards and collaborative awards with electronic/semiconductor industries. Successful candidates will have unique opportunities to interact with collaborators at ASU, collaborative universities, Arizona located semiconductor, electronics, and advance manufacturing companies, as well as US Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). Candidates who are interested in developing his/her future career in the US are encouraged to apply. Our group's previous students have joined tech companies and academia institutes and more details about our work can be found in the group website (https://labs.engineering.asu.edu/mmmp/people/). Applications will be immediately reviewed until the positions are filled. Interested candidates should submit a detailed CV to Prof. Qiong Nian (qnian@asu.edu). 1. Thanks for all students who contacted me or applied, one of the openings is filled. There are still multiple openings available for enrollment in 2025 Fall. In addition to the open areas mentioned above, one emerging priority area is related to microwave processing of thin films for next generation node semiconductor applications. |
