該打架還得打, ACS Nano Appeal 已有5人參與

Nature, Nano Letters 等雜志 editors 權力大得很。稿子拒了就是拒了，沒話好說的。 ACS Nano 也有些牛了。前些日子搞了篇文章，有一個審稿人些意見時說著說著來氣了。結果editor也拒了，盡管另一個審稿人讓Publish as is. Journal: ACS Nano (ID nn-2009-00xxxx) Dear EFGH, Enclosed are the reviews for your manuscript. Unfortunately, the reviewers have found significant problems that render the manuscript unacceptable for publication in ACS Nano. My recommendation is that you consider these comments in full and consider the possibility of publishing in another journal. Comments: (Short and supportive) 心里有些不忿，就寫了一篇Appeal. 痛批第一個審稿人不好好看。 Editor 倒是挺負責，馬上回信說要看看。一個月過去了，再寫信去催，說同情我的看法，但這種Appeal 好像是頭一回，要請示大老板。這一來又是一個月。還是要請示。最后火大了，干脆resubmit, 在是否以前送到其他Journal的地方填ACS Nano. 一個月后回來四個。 Reviewer: 1 Recommendation: Publish in ACS Nano after minor revisions noted. Reviewer: 2 Recommendation: Reject; it appears that publication in any form would be premature at this time. Reviewer: 3 Recommendation: Publish in ACS Nano after minor revisions noted.
