求翻譯“AAA protocol”

最近收到一封信，邀請為“Amino Acid Analysis Handbook”貢獻一章，信中有兩句意思不大明白，求教大家。 特別是這一句“The success of the Series seems, in a large part, to be due to the usefulness of the Notes section. We would like to emphasize that you can contribute your detailed AAA protocol, along with suitable justification of the techniques used, especially if you believe that such protocols deserve wider recognition. ” 具體語境如下： Dear Dr. xxx, We would like to invite you, your colleagues and collaborators to contribute a chapter for an upcoming volume in an on-going and highly successful series Methods in Molecular Biology provisionally entitled “Amino Acid Analysis Handbook”. This well-established Series (over 580 volumes published to date) is published by Humana Press, USA (part of the Springer publishing group) and each chapter included in this volume would be separately referred in PubMed. In Amino Acid Analysis Handbook, our aim is to provide a comprehensive up-to-date picture of an analytical technique widely used in different areas of biosciences: from proteomics to clinical laboratories to food analyses. We strongly believe that the new technique of Amino Acid Analysis that combines a pre-column derivatization of amino acids with their identification by LC/ESI/MS/MS developed by your lab and published in 2005 in Talanta will be especially invaluable for such publication. We want this volume to be THE state-of-the-art book on the subject. The aims and format of this Series designed so that essentially each chapter aims to describe a specific technique or application. The success of the Series seems, in a large part, to be due to the usefulness of the Notes section. We would like to emphasize that you can contribute your detailed AAA protocol, along with suitable justification of the techniques used, especially if you believe that such protocols deserve wider recognition. Each corresponding author will receive a complimentary copy of the book, when it becomes available. Please let us know by July 26, 2010 if you are interested in taking part in this endeavor and able to contribute a chapter by December 1, 2010. xxxxx, Ph.D. Senior Investigator ........ |
