【discussion】How to choose a better method to improve my teaching efficiency?

Last week I began to teach the children IPA(international phonetic alphabet) in my supplementary class. It went well at that time. But today a problem appears.  It is hard to MAKE children interested in English! Errr...I just provide some strategies. I think they would help yiou!(1) Make your class lively and happy ^_^: Children would like to study English in a different way besides praticing again and again, which is ofcourse boring. I remembered I told you before. (1) Using beautful little English Flashes to attract children's attention. (2) Add some enternment or little English games. (3) Using some simple and interesting vedios like "走遍美國“ or some funny vedios from the website like "You Ku". Have you ever watched a vedio in which two acute foreign children are quarreling? Have you ever watched a vedio in which a 4-year-old boy called 911 to ask the policeman to help with his math? I think these funny vedio will make your class interesing and children would like to accept the English. They would think, "Oh, English is so interesting! Wow, I want to learn it well!"  (2) You should add oil and make your speech interesting. You work hard and speak aloud. You are good. But that's not enough. A teacher is not just a person who is good at some course like math, but also good at TEACHing math. Therefore, my second point ask you and your partner to work DIFFERENTLY. I think you could make your voice LIVELY. Do you know what I mean? Have you ever seen foreigners talking? They talk with many gestures and exaggerating expressions. You might think they are too excited. But they are helpful to be understood and make the listeners to focus on his/her speach. (3) Ajust the content. This might be a little difficult. But I think it is NOT late. Err.. I don't know what you want to teach them. i think teaching them how to enjoy the beauty of language is a good idea. I don't know. You can adjust your content appropriately. For example, you may add some games, give them some little gifts, or let them watch English cartoons like those from Walt Disney. A good example is that I add some little funny expressions like "^_^" or "O(∩_∩)O~" to my post. See? They make the post beautiful and interesting and the readers happy to read. (4) Afterall, you are not a teacher. So, you can consult your English teachers and ask them to help you and give you some suggestion. They have experience and can surely do you a favour. Anyway, you have written many diaries about your supplementary class. I want you and your partner to have a good harvest and the students to have a good performance. Therefore, please try these tips above. They perhaps help! Add oil~ Nothing succeeds without difficulties. So, fight!
