如題,我?guī)同F(xiàn)在在伯克利做博后的一個(gè)已經(jīng)是北卡的助理教授發(fā)的帖,他現(xiàn)在在很有名的Alivisatos Group做博后,2011年七月開(kāi)始在北卡工作,如果是和物理、化學(xué)、工程、材料相關(guān)的,無(wú)論是做visiting還是degree的,還是做博后的,有意向,歡迎大家聯(lián)系他!他人很熱情的,很好的,唯一的要求就是最好對(duì)science有興趣! http://www.mse.ncsu.edu/research/linyou/ 這是他的個(gè)人主頁(yè)啊,歡迎歡迎! 郵箱是:lcao2@ncsu.edu或者lycao@berkeley.edu 研究簡(jiǎn)介如下: The Nanoscale Photophysics and Photochemistry Group of Prof. Linyou Cao at NC State University is to better understand the fundamental properties of photons and charge carriers in nanostructured materials which will eventually lead to a rational design of novel photonics and optoelectronics devices with applications in a wide variety of fields, ranging from energy utilization, environment remediation, information technology, to biotechnology. Current studies in this group are focused on three major areas: (1) plasmonics & semiconductor nanophotonics, (2) charge dynamics in nanostructures, and (3) nanoscale photocatalysis. These researches by definition are at the crossroad of materials science, physics, chemistry and electrical engineering. Group members synergistically utilize and develop techniques of optical and electronic characterizations, time-resolved spectroscopy, device fabrications and nanomaterials synthesis to achieve our research goals. The Cao group is particularly interested in clarifying fundamental principles by exploring theoretical modeling/simulations for experiments and observations. As a result, group members may expect to receive multidisciplinary research training in both theory and experiment. Excellent, self-motivated candidates are sought who enjoy working in an international and interdisciplinary research team. A B.S. degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, and engineering or a related discipline is required. Strong interest in cutting-edge scientific research and self-motivation are very important assets of the successful candidate.
