【招聘】PhD candidate in Plant Molecular Biology/Biochemistry

發(fā)布一個(gè)德國(guó)的PhD 空位 PhD candidate in Plant Molecular Biology/Biochemistry We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with outstanding research potential to join our research group (signal integration in hormone action) and contribute to our understanding of the mechanisms controlling protein stability. Taking the auxin perception system in plants (Arabidopsis) as a model, we will focus on mechanistic studies of the assembly and regulation of ubiquitin ligases-substrate as well as ubiquitin ligases-small molecule interactions and their networks, and ultimately on their roles in growth and development. Our research involves modern biochemical and molecular methods. The successful candidate should hold a diploma or masters degree in biochemistry or biology and should have a solid command of English communications skills. The position is available from January, 2011. The IPB is an international research institute located on the weinberg-campus of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and provides state-of-the-art facilities for research in plant biochemistry/proteomics, cell biology/imaging, and natural products chemistry/metabolomics.
