香港理工大學招聘RA

Advertise for a Research Assistant (RA), Applied Physics Department, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Duties The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “The development of novel doped glass/glass-ceramic optical fibre for fibre laser and amplifier applications”. He/She will assist the project leader in various research-related tasks, including fabrication and characterization of novel doped glass and glass-ceramic, fabrication and characterization of glass and glass fiber suitable for ~3μm emission. Qualifications Applicants for this Research Assistant post should have a master’s degree in inorganic materials fabrication, material science or other related areas. Applicants should also have good practical research experience and theoretical background in inorganic nonmetallic materials fabrication, those with experience in glass/glass-ceramic and glass fiber fabrication is preferable. Remuneration Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary range for research assistant: 9000-10000 HKD per month.
